Carnation Auto, the country's first Multibrand auto solutions company, on Wednesday said it was planning to increase its Mobile Repair workshops from the present 30 to least 100 this year.
These Workshops on Wheels (WOW) provides services at the door step of the customer. This will be a fairly important catalyst in after sale market, Carnation Auto Chairman and Managing Director Jagdish Khattar, told reporters here. The company has 30 such workshops in the country and by the end of the year, plans to take it to 100, he said.
Khattar on Wednesday signed an MOU with the New India Assurance, Girish Raj, Chief Regional Manager, to offer cashless insurance cover in kochi.
The partnership would provide the customers of New India Assurance in Kochi hassle free processing of insurance claims right from intimation of claims till its settlement. The policy holers would also be offfered a wide array of benefits and value added services at the Caranation Auto hub here.
Khattar said that through the cash-less tie-up, the aim is to provide customers a hassle free claim settlement in addition to a bouquet of value offerings from Carnation Auto. The service offerings and state-of-the-art technology of Carnation Auto is aimed at providing solutions for the entire auto needs of a Car owner under one roof.
The emphasis would be on repair rather than on replacement of auto parts, which would be benefical to customers, he said.
Carnations Auto, which presently has 10 verticals, including Body shop and repairs, parts, accessories and value added services, has set up 21 operations hubs with 583 bays across 14 cities with 5 more in the pipeline, including at Jaipur, Kudihana and lucknow.
Girish Raj, Chief Regional Manager, New India Assurance, said the tie up will enable customers to have access to Carnation's hassle free insurance claim process and to experience the state of the art accidental repairs facilty at Carnation Auto.
By 2012, Carnations will provide complete auto solutions across the country.
